Lake Town is one of the few mountains in the Upper World crowned with a sizable freshwater lake. The settlement that shares its name is an idyllic community spread along the lake’s shores, with a reputation for stunning views, peaceful living, and excellent fishing.

Despite its name, Lake Town is far larger than the word “town” might suggest. Visitors expecting a small village are surprised by the bustling port, thriving markets, and substantial population. The name is a historical artifact from the settlement’s founding β it has simply never been changed.
