Navigation checks (for non-professionals) are very difficult. Always Knowledge skill check using tuning fork set at lattice-engine.
Crew can assist: Small ships limited, larger ships have mechanical propellers (Strength), sails (Agility), wings (Precision), balloons/blimps (Knowledge). Leader is always at Lattice-Engine. Non-physical assistance would only distract.
