Trinkets and Relics are working precursor tech that appear magical (electrical, chemical, mechanical, or literal magic). Trinket = 1 use left. Relic = many uses left. Players encouraged to use trinkets liberally.
Trinket Feedback: Carrying too much unshielded precursor tech causes unpredictable reactions. Limit = Knowledge score. Relics and Bits don’t count. If over limit and roll Failure with Fear, roll 1d6: 1-2 = Feedback (1 HP loss + random trinket destroyed).
Sample Relic: Glow-Crystal (permanent light source, 5 Bags of Bits). Sample Trinket: flash-bang.
